Kerry is a totally self-taught artist, learning techniques and styles over the years and constantly practising with various media. Always trying to increase her art knowledge.  Her love for animals and nature reflects in her work but also enjoys the quirkiness of paintings that make you smile and that you can associate a small part of your life with.

Looking for something very different for your home then take a look at my original paintings?  In these pieces I start with the eyes as that gives the soul and character of the animal that I am trying to capture.  Each piece is started with a light grey background, the actual painting is the main focus.

Wildlife is a real passion for me and I am branching out from big cats. I will be working on other well loved animals like giraffes, zebras, penguins and am looking forward to working on a series of Birds of Prey; Bald Eagles, falcons, red kites.  Animals were the principal subject for the earliest artists they animals because they were extremely vital to their very existence. Finding these wall paints in caves, only illuminated by firelight.
