Kerry Ann Lyons

Pop Art has become an addiction the last 3 years for me.  The bold outlines and vivid eyecatching colours attract me to create artwork that customers really are drawn to.   Thinking outside the box and using tone, techniques and vibrancy is what Kerry enjoys.

Kerry has  been inspired by lots of artist in the Pop Art World. Andy Warhol & Roy Lichtenstein being some of her favourites.  She has her own style though and finding different techniques all of the time by constantly experimenting.  Hand cutting stencils and using spray paints to produce collage like Pop Art pieces.  Her graffiti style marries with her doodle art style to produce pieces of contemporary modern art that are unique and different.  She incorporates details from the person she is portraying into each painting with a lot of research.

She has been working hard on her new range of Pop Art with her publisher which will be hitting the marketplace soon.  Her new iconic celebrities will really shine and have texture and tones that she is sure the  20th century avant-garde surrealism artworld will love. Look out for these on her website in the next 2 months.

As a Pop Artist Kerry has been using a mixed media style to produce her new work with ; graffiti, decoupage, stencilling,  3D resin embellishments, glitter and lots more. Her older work is still currently on the website but feels now that they were but a stepping stone to growing and learning as a credible Pop Artist.  She is very excited to release her new series through her new publishers.
