Oxfordshire artist, Kerry Ann Lyons was first introduced to art at a young age when she was surprised to find a book with portraits that her mother had drawn. Her fascination and interest for art were lit that day and have burned strongly ever since. So, thank you to my beautiful mum for getting me started on my art journey.

She has a love for animals and nature which truly reflects in her wildlife art paintings.  She manages to capture the essence and soul of the animal with detailed eyes and a photo realism feel but also encompassing vibrant gouache colours with an overlay of doodle art; Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Monsters, flowers, cups of tea.  What will you find in the painting?

Her paintings range from Zebras, Giraffes, Brown Bears and numerous
big cats from all of the continents; Africa, South America, North America to
penguins from Antarctica. Her flora & fauna paintings are growing in number and upcoming pieces are elephants, meerkats & peacocks.   Another love of hers is designing Pop Art and as a Pop Artist she is developing her skills to bring interesting images in an original painting showing off her talents to incorporate a mixed media feel to each piece.  Her current range is; Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Charlie Chaplin.

Her ability to be very flexible in her work and media is growing all of the time, her love for big cats and wildlife found her latest passion for polychromos pencils starting with photorealism tiger. Receiving a big compliment when someone actually thought it was a photo.
