Oxfordshire Pop artist/ Wildlife artist Kerry Ann Lyons was first introduced to art at a young age when found a book with portraits in that her mother had drawn.  Self-taught artist, learning techniques and styles over the years.  Always trying to increase her knowledge in art. Her love for animals and nature reflects in her work but also enjoys the quirkiness of paintings that make you smile and that you can associate a small part of your life with.

In the 1950s the wonderful pop art movement emerged in America and Britain and really took off in the 1960s. Inspired by popular and commercial culture it challenged the traditional art forms and was considered a bit rebellious.

Pop artists wanted to make art that was more associated with what they considered the real world. Recognized by using iconic stars like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, iconic symbols and everyday household objects.  Kerry enjoys combining all of these things to create her beautiful original pieces.
